6、%ofthetotalforestcoverin2010and54%ofthenetforestlossduringsecondstudydecade.LossesofforestcoverandOtherWoodedLand(OWL)coverresultinestimatesofcarbonlosseswhicharesimilarfor1990sand2000sat11887MtCyr(range:646–1238)and880MtCyr(range:602–1237)respectiv

7、ely,withhumidregionscontributingtwo-thirds.Theestimatesofforestareachangeshavesmallstatisticalstandarderrorsduetolargesamplesize.Wealsoreduceuncertaintiesofpreviousestimatesofcarbonlossesandremovals.Ourestimatesofforestareachangearesigni?cantlyloweras
