4、thespikeglycoproteingene.Maximumparsimonygenealogywithaheuristicalgorithmusingsequencesfrom15?eldstrainsstudiedhereand10sequencesfromGenBankandbredavirusasanoutgroupvirusshowedtheexistenceoftwomajorclusters(1and2)inthisviralspecies,theBrazilianstrainssegregatinginbothoft

5、hem.Themeannucleotideidentitybetweenthe15Brazilianstrainswas98.34%,withameanaminoacidsimilarityof98%.Strainsfromcluster2showedadeletionof6aminoacidsinsidedomainIIofthespikeproteinthatwasalsofoundinhumancoronavirusstrainOC43,supportingtherecentproposalofazoonoticspill-ove
