3、gRoadinGuangzhoucity,thisresearchcomparedthestreetspaceperceptionofdiferentstakeholdersthroughthemathematicstatisticalmethod,andfoundthesignificantdiferencesonspaceimageamongthreetypesofstakeholderswhicharelocalresi—dents,touristsandmerchants.WithSemanticDiferentialmethodas
4、theanalysistools,thisresearchfoundthatthespaceperceptionoftouristswerebetterthanresidentsandmerchants,what’Smore,spaceperceptionoftourists,whichregardeditasquiet,clean,suitableforwalking,werealsomorealikethefeaturesofthishistoryneighborhood.Thirdly,intheaspectofcognitionmap
5、s,residents,touristandmerchantshavetheirownfunctionaldemandsforthestreethencestakeholders’cognitionmapswereretortedandstretchedinten-sively.Sinceallmodificationmethodswillinevitablyhavecertaininfluencetotraditionalblocks,inthees—senceofthesocialfromallwalksoflife,moreatenti
6、onhavebeenfocusedontraditionalscenesofEningroadwhichisregardedasthecitypublicinterestforfuturegenerations.However,associalgroupsbecomeincreasinglyunderthetrendofdiferentiation,howtodefinethepublicinterestofcityspacefortheevadedsubjectsisaseriousproblem,especiallyforthetradi
