3、dtoadisciplinedregularreviewandinvestigativepro-cedureknownasriskmanagement.Beforeapplyingriskmanagementprocedures,manyorganizationsproduceaRiskManagementPlan.Thisisadocumentproducedatthestartoftheprojectwhichsetsoutthestrategicrequire-mentsforriskassessmentandthewholeriskmanagementpro
4、cedure.Incertainsituationstheriskmanagementplanshouldbeproducedattheestimatingorcontracttenderstagetoensurethatadequateprovisionsaremadeinthecostbuild-upofthetenderdocument.RiskmanagementTheProjectManagementPlan(PMP)shouldincludear′esum′eoftheRiskManagementPlan,whichwillfirstofalldefin
5、ethescopeandareastowhichriskmanagementapplies,particularlytherisktypestobeinvestigated.Itwillalsospecifywhichtechniqueswillbeusedforriskidentificationandassessment,whetherSWOT(Strengths,Weaknesses,OpportunitiesandThreats)analysisisrequiredandwhichrisks(ifany)requireamorerigorousquantit
6、ativeanalysissuchasMonteCarlomethods.TheRiskManagementPlanwillsetoutthetype,contentandfrequencyofreports,therolesofriskownersandthedefinitionoftheimpactandprobabilitycriteriainqualitativeand/orquantitativetermscoveringcost,timeandquality/performance.ThemaincontentsofaRiskManagementPlan
