4、lity.“DumbEnglish”isperplexingmostEnglishteachersandstudentsofhighschool.Apartfromtheproblemsteachershave,theenvironmentisalsoanimportantproblem,becauseoftheunawarenessoftheimportanceofspeaking,studentsdon’thaveenoughchancestopracticetheiroralEnglish.Thelacko
5、fatmosphereisthemostimportantreasonoftheirpoororalEnglish.Aseveryoneknows,“Practicemakesperfect!”Withoutpractice,howcantheybecomeperfect?Becauseofthat,studentsdon’thavethehabitofspeaking.Whentheyareacquiredtospeak,manyproblemsappear,suchas:theirhandsandfeetar
6、etrembling,thetuneoftheirvoiceischanging,thesentencesareindisorder.Manyofthemjustreciteinsteadofspeak.studentsthemselvesareblamefortheirpoororalEnglish.BecauseoftheactualitiesofChineseteaching,therequirementsoforalEnglisharemuchlessthangrammar,listening,readi
7、ngandwriting.Somanystudentsdon’tpayenoughattentiontoit.Forexample,whenstudentsareaskedofthefourskills---listening,speaking,16readingandwriting,whichoneisthemostimportant,manywillchoosereadingandgrammarwithoutanyhesitation.Fewstudentswillchoosespeaking.Another
