2、hicscommunitybecauseoftheirpotentialtocreateveryrealisticimageonpopularhardwareplatform.Thedissertationaddressesthefollowingseveralkeytechniques:theimagemosaic,theimagemorphing,thesimulationbasedonimage,hybridrenderbasedongeometryandimage.1.Ontheresearchoftheautomatici
3、magemosaic,wepresentanewautomatedpanoramicmosaicalgorithmbasedonfeature.ThealgorithmsolvetheproblemhowtodecidetheCOC豫cientsoftheinitial.theweightedfunctionandthewidthofthetransitionzone.Thealgorithmcanbefinishedwithautomatinginmostcaseandsuitsforanyscaleimagewithunknow
4、nanyparameterofcamera.Mosaicimageissmoothandhasnogap.2.AnewimagemorphingalgorithmbasedonBezierfeaturecurveispresented,whichspecifiesmorphingfeatureusingBezierfeaturecurve.Comparedwithfield—basedimagemorphing,wecanspecifythefeaturemoreexactlyandthenumbersoffeatureprimit
5、ivearereduced.Fromexperimentalresults,thealgorithm’Sspeedistrebleimprovedgeneratingasmoothmorphingimage,comparingwithfield—basedimagemorphing.3.Aautomaticimagemorphingalgorithmbasedonwaveletedgedetectionispresented.Thealgorithmcallautomaticallyspecifymorphingfeature.Th
6、emethodmodifiesfield-basedimagemorphing,reducesthecomplexdegreeofmorphingalgorithmandacceleratesmorphing.Fromtheexperimentresults,thealgorithmcanautomaticallymetamorphoseimageandavoidthemosttediouspartofimagemorphing.4.Aautomaticimagemorphingalgorithmbasedonmodifyingac
