6、llbestudied.AtestsystemismodeledusingthesimulationtoolPSS/E.Thefirststepistoestimatetheconfigurationandparametersoftheoffshorewindnetworkconnectedtoland.Resultsfromthestaticanddynamicsimulationsofthemodelareanalyzedtodiscusshowthepowerbalanceandsystemreliabilitywiththeincr
7、easedwindpowerpenetrationcanbemaintained.ThenewtechnologybasedintransistorsHVDCLightistakeninconsiderationforconnectingislandedsystemstoACgridsystemswhenconnectionpointsarefaraway.Itisfoundthatascenariowithmorethan6%ofoffshorewindpowersupplydoesnotservegridconnectionrequir
8、ementsinUK.Thisvalueincreasesupto12%inGermanyinpartbecauseoftheoffshoreplatformsnetwork.T
