4、nationswasmeasuredinthetensofbillionsofdollars.Todayitiscountedinthehundredsofbillions.Fewpeoplebackthenhadcellphones,andalmostnoonehadaccesstotheInternet.TodayChinahastheworld’slargestmobilephonenetwork,andmoreInternetusersthananyothercountryonearth.我于1995年初
5、次訪問(wèn)中國(guó)，此后又很榮幸地多次前來(lái)訪問(wèn)。每次來(lái)到中國(guó)都使我對(duì)這個(gè)國(guó)家，對(duì)中國(guó)人民旺盛的活力，對(duì)中國(guó)的變化之快及中國(guó)未來(lái)的發(fā)展前途產(chǎn)生新的了解和新的印象。早在1995年，我們兩國(guó)間的貿(mào)易額僅有數(shù)百億美元，如今兩國(guó)貿(mào)易額已達(dá)數(shù)千億美元。那時(shí)，極少有人擁有手機(jī)，幾乎沒(méi)有人使用因特網(wǎng)。今天，中國(guó)擁有全世界最大的移動(dòng)電話網(wǎng)絡(luò)，使用因特網(wǎng)的人數(shù)高于全世界任何國(guó)家。In1995,bothourcountriessignedontotheBeijingplatformforactiontoadvanceequalityandop
