5、ofthethesis.摘要自從語言產(chǎn)生以來，語言交際便在人類交際中扮演主要角色，但并非是交際的唯一手段。身勢語是非語言交際的重要組成部分，并和文化緊密聯(lián)系在一起,它在人類交際中起著不可忽略的作用。在跨文化交際中它幫助人們傳情達(dá)意，突破語言障礙，促進(jìn)交流。我們必須承認(rèn)世界各國的身勢語與語言文化一樣，也有相似之處。然而由于地域、種族和文化習(xí)俗的差異，不同文化的身勢語有許多差異，它們由文化制約，并擁有獨(dú)特的文化內(nèi)涵。作者在借鑒前人成果的基礎(chǔ)上分析了中西方身勢語的文化差異與共性,揭示中西方民族性格方面的差異，并提出交際中遵循的原則，從
