1、英漢習(xí)語(yǔ)的文化差異及其翻譯摘要諺語(yǔ)來(lái)源于生活，是一個(gè)民族語(yǔ)言和文化的高度濃縮和集中體現(xiàn)。它可以反映出一個(gè)國(guó)家的地理、歷史、宗教等文化背景。研究一個(gè)國(guó)家的文化必然要研究其諺語(yǔ)。英漢諺語(yǔ)作為兩種不同的語(yǔ)言瑰寶，由于其獨(dú)特的文化而表現(xiàn)出明顯的差異。因此,如何忠實(shí)地翻譯諺語(yǔ),把一種文化在另一種文化中再現(xiàn)出來(lái),成了每一個(gè)譯者不可推卸的責(zé)任。本文借助一些典型的例子，從起源、地理環(huán)境、風(fēng)俗習(xí)慣、宗教信仰、歷史文化等文化側(cè)面入手，進(jìn)行比較與分析，探討了英語(yǔ)諺語(yǔ)和漢語(yǔ)諺語(yǔ)之間存在的差異。英漢諺語(yǔ)本身的特點(diǎn)以及其獨(dú)特的文化背景使諺語(yǔ)的翻譯比較困難。為了忠實(shí)、通順地
