5、g.【KeyWords】idiom;comparison;translation【摘要】習語通常包括成語、俗語、格言、歇后語、諺語、俚語、行話等。其表現(xiàn)形式音節(jié)優(yōu)美,音律協(xié)調(diào),或含蓄幽默,或嚴肅典雅,言簡意賅,形象生動,妙趣橫生,給人一種美的享受。習語是語言的精華,它帶有濃厚的民族色彩和鮮明的文化內(nèi)涵。因此對英語讀者和漢語讀者來說,做到徹底精確地理解蘊含深刻文化內(nèi)涵的習語的翻譯是相對比較困難的。本文首先從修辭手法方面分析了英漢習語的相似性,然后分別從生存環(huán)境、對事物的認知、歷史典故、宗教信仰等四個不同方面來比較和分析英漢習語存在的巨大差異,接著概括了英漢習
